The Subjects

The idea behind EAA may have started as the dream of one man but making the project a reality requires the help of all the teachers. The fact that they are willing to incorporate English into their lessons is a sign of the support that the project has. At first they were a little shy about teaching, and especially speaking, English in the classroom but the fact that they do this provides the pupils with the opportunity to use English in a variety of situations that simply cannot be replicated in the English classroom.

Different subjects appear at different times throughout the school careers of the children depending on the requirements of the subject teachers. We are always mindful that the students have no deficits because of the English and as such we need to adjust the amount of English that is being used accordingly. That said the pupils get English as often as possible in as many subjects as possible. Below are some examples of what goes on.
